Bereavement Resource Guide
We hope that our Bereavement Resource Guide will help you navigate feelings and "next steps" related to grief. This guide is designed to help you understand what grief looks like across the lifespan, provide remembrance activities that you can do with your family after a loss, and help you find community resources to support you during this time.
"Growing With Grief" Support Group
Families of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, FL patients who have passed are invited to join our credentialed professionals for a time of comfort and community. This group takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Ronald McDonald House on the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, FL property. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Remembers
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Children’s Hospital, Florida hosts an annual "ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Remembers" ceremony every November to honor patients who passed away in the previous year. This is a time of celebration, closure and connection between the families and the staff who cared for their children. The event is open to family members, friends, faculty and staff, and a reception follows the ceremony. Families have shared that they appreciated being part of such a meaningful, healing experience.
